Division Series Game 1 Goes to Little Rock, Thanks to Rodrigues
The Little Rock Golden Gophers started the Division Series in style, downing the visiting Ottawa Lynx at Little Rock Grounds by a score of 7-4 to grab an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 series. Golden Gophers center fielder Carlos Rodrigues was 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and was hit by a pitch.

With one out in the bottom of the fifth, Chris Pinson barreled up a fastball from Lupe Carrillo. The result was a solo home run, putting the Golden Gophers in front, 4-2.

"The bar for us is not a particular opponent, it's ourselves," said Little Rock manager Jose Moreno.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Little Rock Grounds in Little Rock.
