Santa Ana Wins Game 5 in Extras; On Verge of CS
Santa Ana seized control of the Division Series at Rivermen Ballpark, winning a vital Game 5 behind right fielder Nate Berg. Berg went 4-5 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 during the 7-6 Black Aces win in 10 innings. They now hold a 3-2 lead in the best-of-7 Division Series.

Santa Ana used the timely hitting of Ivan Camarillo to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Black Aces on top, 7-6. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

In postgame comments, Berg said he was glad to contribute to an exciting win.
