Crystal Lake Win Evens Series at 1
The Crystal Lake Killers defeated the Ft. Wayne Earthquakes, 6-3, in Game 2 of the League Championship Series. Making an impact was third baseman Max Guerrero, who went 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The win moves Crystal Lake into a 1-1 tie with Ft. Wayne in the series.

Had Clint Arnold not delivered a key base hit in the top of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Arnold hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Killers.

"We'll take some time to unwind," said Guerrero, "and then get after it again."

Game 3 is scheduled for Monday at Killer Stadium in Biloxi.
