Mexico City Breaks Through for First Win in League Championship Series; Now Trails 3-1
Already down in the League Championship Series, the Mexico City Aztecs put on their best show, beating the Dollywood Partons by a final score of 4-3. Ryan Roeser was special. He threw 5.0 innings of 3-hit ball. Mexico City now trails Dollywood 3-1 in the best-of-7 affair.

Brent Mallinson helped out the Mexico City cause in the bottom of the seventh inning with a run-scoring double. For the game, the catcher was 2-3 with a double and a walk.

"The competition leap this year was tough to adjust to and I feel like there has been another jump in the playoffs," said Mallinson, a rookie this season. "You're only playing the best now and everyone has time to rest and prepare for you."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Tony Gwynn Stadium in Mexico City.
