Partons Win Again, Extend Series Lead to 3-0
Despite a great performance by Mexico City starter R.J. Eisen, the Dollywood Partons defeated the Aztecs by the score of 4-3 at Tony Gwynn Stadium. Eisen threw 5.1 innings of shutout ball, but he couldn't prevent the Partons from moving one game closer to the World Series. Dollywood now leads the League Championship Series 3-0.

Dollywood used the timely hitting of Matt Batdorf to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Partons on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"I felt good up there," said Batdorf. "I saw the ball well."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Tony Gwynn Stadium in Mexico City.
