Tiverton Breaks Through for First Win in Division Series; Now Trails 2-1
Already down in the Division Series, the Tiverton Colonels put on their best show, beating the Whitby Bats by a final score of 5-4. Larry Killian was special. He was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs. Tiverton now trails Whitby 2-1 in the best-of-7 affair.

With a runner on 3rd and two out in the bottom of the eighth inning, shortstop Nick Clarke delivered big for the Colonels. Tiverton was trailing 4-2 when he belted a 2-run home run.

"Like I've always said, I'm the straw that stirs the drink," Clarke said (again).

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Field of the Colonels in Tiverton.
