Riding the 3-hit performance of right fielder Ryan Waugh, the St. Catharines Blue Jays got a road win against the Dollywood Partons, 11-1, in Game 2 of the World Series. Waugh went 3-5 with 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 4 for the Blue Jays, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 2 games to 0.

St. Catharines used the hitting of Nick Makar to pick up the win. The third baseman clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Blue Jays on top, 3-0. For the game, Makar had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"Solid performance from our side," said Blue Jays manager Freddy Coss.
