Already down in the Division Series, the Moncton Mounties put on their best show, beating the Buffalo Bellflowers by a final score of 20-15. Danny Shafer was special. He went 2-4 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks. He scored 3 times and drove in 4. Moncton now trails Buffalo 2-1 in the best-of-7 affair.

A key moment came with one out in the top of the third. That's when Shafer hit a screwball from Miguel Gastelum for a 2-run double, putting Moncton up, 12-3.

"It's nice to deliver when your team's counting on you," said Shafer.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Wegman's Field in Buffalo.
