Oaks Prevail, as League Championship Series Goes to the Wire
In an exciting League Championship Series that had its fair share of drama and intrigue, perhaps it is ABA Development League fans who have come out the winner.

But on the field, the winners were the Orono Oaks, who edged the Spokane Selects 4-3 to advance to the World Series.

Orono won the final game by a 6-0 count to wrap up the series. Tyler Tolbert earned series MVP honors, by hitting .250 with a .323 on-base percentage. He had 5 home runs, drove in 11 RBI and scored 7 runs.

The Orono Oaks will play against the Joilet Jesters in the next round. Joilet won their series against the Lubbock Stampede 4 games to 0. The World Series schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes.
