Mounties Advance to League Championship Series
It was a sweet sweep for the Moncton Mounties as they eased past the Borrego Springs Rams to advance to the League Championship Series.

Moncton won the final game by a 10-7 count and the series 4-0.

"We're just fortunate to get through it quickly and be able to rest up for the next series," said Mike Berlier, who was named series MVP.

For the series, Berlier hit .471 with a .571 on-base percentage. He had 4 home runs, drove in 7 RBI and scored 7 runs.

The Moncton Mounties don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Tiverton Colonels - Whitby Bats series. That series is tied at 2 games apiece. The League Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes.
