Brooks Blasts Wolverines, Earthquakes Take Game 3, 10-9
Riding the 3-hit performance of third baseman Marc Brooks, the Ft. Wayne Earthquakes got a road win against the Riverside Wolverines, 10-9, in Game 3 of the League Championship Series. Brooks was 3-4 with a home run, a triple, and 2 walks. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2 for the Earthquakes, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 3 games to 0.

Brooks had a key at-bat in the top of the ninth to put Ft. Wayne in front, 10-8. With the bases loaded, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run off Riverside pitcher Tabari Jamal al Din.

"We're going to have to play flawless baseball from here on out," Riverside manager Matt Augustus said. "Which, let's face it, we haven't been doing lately."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Wolverines Ballpark in Riverside.
