Riding the 2-hit performance of shortstop Leo Orozco, the Halifax Heathens stopped the visiting Dallas Dragons, 6-5, in Game 2 of the Divisional Series. Orozco went 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Heathens, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 2 games to 0.

The Hammocks, Florida native Leo Orozco had a clutch at-bat in the bottom of the seventh for the Heathens. With Halifax trailing 5-4, he hit a 2-run home run.

"I like our moxie," said Heathens manager David Morris.

The next game is set to be played for Thursday, October 3rd , 2024 at Tennant Healthcare Ballpark in Dallas.
