Riverside Breaks Through for First Win in Division Series; Now Trails 2-1
The Riverside Wolverines have closed some of the gap between themselves and the series-leading Juneau Sled Dogs, winning, 12-5, at Wolverines Ballpark. Wolverines first baseman Kevin Melko was 3 for 4 with 3 doubles and a walk, while scoring 3 runs. The win cuts the deficit facing the Wolverines to 2-1 in the best-of-7 Division Series.

Dylan Holliday helped his team take an early lead with a 2-run single. It came in the first inning, making the score 3-0, Wolverines.

"We're happy," Melko told reporters after the win. "When you're in the playoffs, you've got to treat every game like it could be your last."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Wolverines Ballpark in Riverside.
