When the games really matter, the Westwood Bruins put on their best show, beating the Quebec Fighting Quakers by a final score of 2-1. Miguel Berrios threw 6.2 innings of 5-hit ball. The series now sits at 1-1 in the best-of-7 affair.
Had Jason Eaton not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Eaton hit a 2-run single. That made the score 2-1, in favor of the Bruins.
Eaton called the win "a team effort."
