Riding the 3-hit performance of the 22-year old center fielder Pat Cureton, the Ottawa Lynx stopped the Providence Hex, 6-2. The loss puts Providence at 11-12.

Craig Wallace hit a 3-run home run off Davis Novoa in the bottom of the second, which put the Lynx ahead, 3-0. In addition to the homer, Wallace had 1 double, while going 2 for 4.

"We're not exactly playing great right now," said Dave Hale, the Providence manager.
