Golden Gophers Get One-Run Win at Aurora
The Little Rock Golden Gophers faced a tough opponent in Aurora pitcher Brayden Snell, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Paints Park by a final score of 3-2. Snell went 5.2 innings and allowed 2 runs. At 18-1, the 2025 Golden Gophers have been nearly flawless so far.

Little Rock used the timely hitting of Matt Dean to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Golden Gophers on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

Dean said his team "played with determination."
