Rodriguez, Alpines Wallop Cyclones in Game 3 of DS
The Savannah Alpines are one game away from a sweep after downing the visiting Mt. Vernon Cyclones at Alpines Stadium, 11-2. Alpines first baseman Raul Rodriguez belted 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. Savannah now holds a 3-0 advantage in the best-of-7 Division Series.

The game turned with two out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Rodriguez hit a grand slam home run off Tyler Bourassa. It propelled the Alpines into the lead, 5-1.

"We lost," Mt. Vernon manager Dan McClure said later. "We'll deal with it. The series isn't over."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Alpines Stadium in Savannah.
