Maughan Helps Waco Outscore Ottawa
The Waco Warlocks topped the Ottawa Lynx, 12-10, the lion's share of the credit going to designated hitter Brian Maughan. On the day, Maughan was 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 4 for the Warlocks. Rodrigo Hernandez, now 3-0, picked up the win in relief. He allowed 2 runs on 10 hits in 4.1 innings. Alex Gonzales earned his 1st save, after closing out the game.

Chris Gallagher cracked a home run off Bobby Pfau in the bottom of the fourth. His 3-run blast put the Warlocks on top, 9-8. In all, Gallagher had 2 singles in addition to the home run, while going 3 for 5.
