Road Win Lifts Little Rock to 2-1 Lead in CS
With starter Andy Yule leading the charge, the Little Rock Golden Gophers defeated the Medford Desperados, 5-4, in Game 3 of the League Championship Series. The right-hander threw 5.2 innings of 3-hit ball at Ballpark of Medford to help Little Rock take a 2-1 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Little Rock used a clutch at-bat from Matt Dean to capture the win. The third baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Golden Gophers ahead, 3-1. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Little Rock manager Michael Kelleher. "It's usually not just one thing."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Ballpark of Medford in Medford.
