MacPherson Blasts Shamrocks, Super Troopers Take Game 4, 5-2
The Santa Barbara Super Troopers knotted up the Division Series at Shamrocks Park, thanks in large part to second baseman Mike MacPherson. MacPherson was 4 for 5 with 2 home runs and a triple. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice as he overpowered the Sikeston Shamrocks, enabling Santa Barbara to grab the 5-2 win and move into a 2-2 tie in the best-of-7 series.

A key moment came with no one out in the top of the first. That's when MacPherson hit a fastball from Mike Reich for a run-scoring triple, putting Santa Barbara up, 2-0.

"It's still just a game," said MacPherson, "whether you win or lose."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Shamrocks Park in Sikeston.
