Scorpions Clip Tigers, 2-1, in DS Contest
The Sonoma Scorpions defeated the London Tigers, 2-1, in Game 4 of the Division Series. Doing his part was starter Ken Springer, who threw 6.1 innings of 5-hit ball. The win moves Sonoma into a 2-2 tie with London in the series.

Sonoma needed the clutch hitting of Jason Parisi to seal the deal. The second baseman swatted a solo home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Scorpions on top, 2-1. For the game, Parisi had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"It was a good effort all around," said Springer.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Ballpark of Oklahoma City in London.
