Desperados Move on to League Championship Series
|
The Medford Desperados are one step closer to winning a World Series, and the season came to a close for the Santa Ana Black Aces.
Medford won the Division Series 4-2, with a 3-1 victory in the deciding game at Santa Ana Stadium today.
Medford second baseman Daniel Friedrich was named the MVP of the series, after hitting .345 with a .345 on-base percentage. He had 0 homers, drove in 9 RBI and scored 6 runs.
"I just hope I can keep it up in the League Championship Series," he said.
The Medford Desperados don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Providence Hex - Little Rock Golden Gophers series. Little Rock leads the series 3 games to 2. The League Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes.
