Medford Win to Pull Even With Santa Ana
The Medford Desperados took down the Santa Ana Black Aces by the score of 9-5 and moved into a 1-1 tie in the Division Series. The largest share of the credit belongs to Medford starter Graham Renner, who threw 7.1 innings of shutout ball.

The Desperados liked what they saw from Renner. The 21-year- old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Black Aces to no runs on 3 hits over 7.1 innings, and striking out 3.

"Graham was hitting his spots and everything had life," said Medford manager Noah Alexander.
