The Waco Warlocks beat the Aurora Paints, 6-1, at Warlocks Grounds. The Warlocks got a fine performance from left fielder David Torres, who was 3-4 with a double and 2 singles. He scored 2 times. Sam Betourne snagged the win in relief. He goes to 1-2 on the season. Radoslaw Sokol suffered the loss. The Paints, now 6-12 this season, have struggled to play .500 ball.

The Warlocks got a big at-bat from catcher Jeff Johnson. For the game, Johnson went 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the sixth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 5th home run of the season gave Waco a 4-1 lead.
