Crimson Tide Win Final 4
|
With a 7-3 win to wrap up the series at Hoglund Ballpark, the Alabama Crimson Tide have eliminated the Kansas Jayhawks in the Final 4 and move on to the College World Series.
Alabama controlled the series from the outset and won it in a 3-0 sweep.
Justin Krystofiak led the charge offensively for the victors, winning series MVP honors. He posted a .429 batting average, along with a .429 on-base percentage. He had 4 home runs, drove in 12 RBI and scored 6 runs.
"We're not done yet," the MVP said. "There is still a lot to accomplish."
The Alabama Crimson Tide don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Michigan State Spartans - Notre Dame Fighting Irish series. Notre Dame leads the series 1 game to 0. The College World Series schedule will be announced after the Final 4 finishes.
