With left fielder Bill Cardiello leading the charge, the Ottawa Lynx defeated the Tacoma Thunder Wolves, 9-8, at Thunder Wolves Stadium. Cardiello, who is rated as the 22nd best prospect by BNN, was 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk, while scoring 2 runs. The winner was Ottawa reliever Zach Heller, now 1-0. The loser was Jim Unknown. Ricardo Flores earned the save for Ottawa, his 2nd of the year.
