Whitby right fielder Scott Skidmore had a day to remember, 5-for-6 against the Moncton Mounties at Mapleton Yards as the Bats picked up a win, 15-9.

"He was patient up there," Whitby skipper David Sawyers told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Skidmore has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes."
