|
A 3-RBI performance from shortstop Mike Maynard, who is tied for 2nd in the NC in stolen bases with 16, led the Terra Linda Chargers to a win over the Moncton Mounties, 7-4. The Chargers now own a record of 25-13.
With two out in the bottom of the third, Dave Poth barreled up a fastball from Mark Luby. The result was a 3-run home run, putting the Chargers in front, 4-0.
In comments to the Terra Linda Herald, Poth insisted that he's not as disinterested as it often appears. "Haters will hate," he added.
