Saint Pierre and Miquelon third baseman John Gadsden contributed significantly to his team's 13-5 win over the Plymouth Rockers. Gadsden, who is tied for 3rd in the NC in bases on balls with 33, went 2 for 3 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Pirates. Travis Anderson, who is tied for 3rd in the NC in wins with 5, was the winner. He's now 5-0. The loser was Jim Unknown. The first-place Pirates have won 9 straight.

Saint Pierre and Miquelon used a clutch at-bat from Justin Phelps to capture the win. The second baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Pirates ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Phelps.
