The Lincoln Princes picked up a win at Lincoln Grounds, knocking off the Whitby Bats, 10-3. Starting pitcher Sergio Espanol played a key role in the triumph. Lincoln is now 13-21, Whitby 24-10.

Israel Vallejo was vital to the Lincoln win. He was 1 for 4 with a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. In the bottom of the third with two out, Vallejo hit a run-scoring single. It made the score 1-0, in favor of the Princes.

"Things kind of got away from us," said Whitby skipper Mike Boyd.
