Madrigal Hits 2 home runs in Bellflowers Win
The Buffalo Bellflowers cut down the Terra Linda Chargers by the score of 10-6, with the largest share of the credit going to right fielder Jesus Madrigal. Madrigal hit 2 home runs. He drove in 6 runs and scored twice for the Bellflowers. Buffalo reliever Tom Donnelly picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Roberto Alcaide absorbed the loss. Picking up his 1st save was 22-year old right-handed pitcher Carlos Loera.

Madrigal contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Buffalo in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 4-2, Madrigal took a sinker from Roberto Alcaide and stroked the home run to right. His 6th home run of the season allowed the Bellflowers to leap in front, 6-4.

"As well as we've been playing, I think we can play even better," said Buffalo manager Andy Perez.

The first-place Bellflowers have won 4 straight.
