Chargers Handed 6-3 Loss by Buffalo

Mike Reich, who is tied for 7th in the NC with a 9.7 K/9 rate, propelled his team to victory over the Terra Linda Chargers. The final score was 6-3, Buffalo. The first-place Bellflowers have a one-game lead in their division.
The Chargers had been locked in a 3-3 tie with the Bellflowers going into the bottom of the sixth inning. That changed quickly when the slick-fielding second baseman Bobby Scheffel came to the plate. Scheffel hit a 2-run double on a 1-2 sinker from Terra Linda hurler Larry Weese. It was Scheffel's 4th double of the year.
"It was a solid, all-around game for us," said Buffalo manager Andy Perez.
