The Terra Linda Chargers picked up a win at Eláguila Stadia, taking down the Whitby Bats, 5-4. Starting pitcher Dave Kramer was a big reason why. Kramer, now 2-0, was the winner. In 6.1 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 7, walking 0, and allowing 2 runs. Pat Higginbotham earned save number 5 this season.

Terra Linda used a well-timed hit by Sean Trahan to capture the win. The shortstop socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the second inning to put the Chargers ahead, 5-2. Though it was his only hit in 5 at-bats, it was important.

"Both teams played hard," said Terra Linda manager Carlos Acevedo.

The win puts the Chargers at 21-13, while the Bats drop to 26-8.
