Riding the 2-hit performance of the 21-year old third baseman Allen Baker, the Saint Pierre and Miquelon Pirates stopped the Tiverton Colonels, 4-1. Chase Harriger got credit for the save for Saint Pierre and Miquelon. It was his 7th of the year. The Pirates have now won 5 straight.
Saint Pierre and Miquelon took the lead, 3-1, on Kenny Porterfield's 4th home run of the season. The solo home run came off Tiverton pitcher Jim Unknown in the top of the eighth.
"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Baker.
