Cole Lifts Bats to 6-1 Triumph
The Whitby Bats extended their winning streak.

A 4-RBI performance from Justin Cole, who is tied for 2nd in the NC in doubles with 6, helped the Whitby Bats beat the Moncton Mounties, 6-1. The first-place Bats have won 8 in a row.

Whitby took a 6-1 lead on Cole's 6th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Vinny Vasquez in the top of the eighth, propelled Whitby to the win.

Cole attributed the win to his team's "focus and intensity."
