Eric Leinbach helped his team muscle past the Plymouth Rockers, 9-5. In the game, the Terra Linda shortstop went 2 for 3 with a home run and a triple. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Terra Linda reliever John Savage was the winner. His record is now 3-0. Jim Unknown took the loss. Rich Hepler was called on to finish, recording his 4th save.

Terra Linda used a well-timed hit by Rob Sellman to capture the win. The right fielder socked a run-scoring double in the top of the second inning to put the Chargers ahead, 1-0. Though it was his only hit in 2 at-bats, it was important.

"We take it day by day here," said Sellman, "and today was a good one for us."
