Chargers Take Tight Tangle
Terra Linda second baseman Rich Brown helped his team beat the Long Island Torpedoes, 8-7. Brown went 4 for 5 for the Chargers. Terra Linda reliever Jeremy Abbott picked up the win, upping his record to 4-0. Matt Bogucki absorbed the loss. The Chargers raised their record to 15-9.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Terra Linda. That's when Felipe Marquez hit a 2-run home run off 21-year old right-handed pitcher Matt Bogucki to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"We maximized our offense today," said Terra Linda skipper Elias Quesada. "That makes everyone's life easier."
