3-0 Loss Deepens Plymouth Funk

Jim Unknown pitched well enough to win, but it was not to be. The Plymouth Rockers, despite Unknown's fine outing, dropped a 3-0 decision to the Moriarty Suns at Madison Grounds. Moriarty reliever David Tirado picked up the win, upping his record to 5-1. Jim Unknown was saddled with the loss. To call the performance of the 2020 Rockers disappointing is an understatement.
Moriarty took a 3-0 lead on Steve Farnsworth's 4th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Farnsworth hit in the top of the ninth, left Plymouth pitcher Jim Unknown shaking his head.
"Come up with some new questions," snapped losing manager John Lunceford to reporters, "and I'll come up with some new answers."
