The Long Island Torpedoes beat the Buffalo Bellflowers, 13-5, at Wegman's Field. The win was due in part to center fielder Brian Brockman, who was 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Lorenzo Martinez finished the game for Long Island and earned his 1st save. For Buffalo, now 15-5, wins have been plentiful, losses few.

In the top of the sixth, the Torpedoes grabbed the lead when Brockman hit his 3rd home run of the season. The 2-run home run off Alex Real made it 7-5, Long Island.

"We hit the ball on the barrel," said Long Island manager Victor Sepulveda.
