Fading Cubs Lose 8th Straight
The Franklin Cubs got a sterling performance from pitcher Mike Kendra, but the Terra Linda Chargers still prevailed, 3-2. Kendra threw 6.1 innings of 1-hit ball. The Cubs, at 4-15, have stumbled out of the gate.

Terra Linda used the timely hitting of Justin Harris to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Chargers on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Franklin manager Alec Roller said following the tough loss.
