Starting pitcher Steve Bueno was a major factor in the 7-0 Terra Linda Chargers triumph over the Long Island Torpedoes. The loss drops Long Island to 4-11.

The Chargers got a big at-bat from third baseman Eric Leinbach, who in the bottom of the third hit a 2-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Chargers on top, 3-0.

Afterward, Long Island manager Victor Sepulveda said: "We were guessing wrong on pitches, and that's something we've got to get away from."
