Dawson goes 3-for-6 to Power Pirates Offense
|
The Saint Pierre and Miquelon Pirates outscored the Buffalo Bellflowers, 13-9. Among the hitting stars was left fielder Oliver Dawson. Dawson, who is tied for 10th in the NC with a .810 slugging percentage, was 3-6 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 3 and driving in 4. Lupe Carrillo got credit for the save for Saint Pierre and Miquelon. It was his 2nd of the year. Saint Pierre and Miquelon goes to 5-11.
Rikard Munk was a prime factor in the win for the Pirates. In the top of the fourth with two out, the 20-year old catcher hit a 2-run single. He was 2-2 with 2 singles, 2 walks, and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
