Sallee drives in 5 runs to Fuel Cubs Offense
A 5-RBI performance from the 19-year old second baseman Bob Sallee helped the Franklin Cubs beat the Plymouth Rockers, 15-4. Dan Herbert earned the save for Franklin, his 1st of the year. The Cubs, with just their 5th win so far in 2023, have yet to catch fire.

Sallee contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Franklin in the bottom of the second. With his team trailing 4-1, Sallee took a fastball from Jordan Santiago and stroked the home run to left-center. His 3rd home run of the season allowed the Cubs to leap in front, 5-4.

"It feels good to get this one," Sallee told the Franklin Today.
