Downward Spiral Continues for Abingdon
The Terra Linda Chargers defeated the Abingdon Archers, 5-1. Shortstop Sean Trahan deserved a large share of the credit. Trahan went 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk for the Chargers. Pat Higginbotham earned the save for Terra Linda, his 2nd of the year. The Chargers, now 8-2, have stormed out of the gates.

Rob Sellman had a big solo home run for the Chargers in the bottom of the third inning. With Terra Linda leading 1-0 and the bases empty, he got a sinker from 19-year old right-handed pitcher Jim Unknown and swatted a home run to right-center. It was his 1st home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Chargers ahead, 2-0.

Sellman called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
