Saint Pierre and Miquelon Sent Home with 4-1 Loss
Moncton registered a win at Mapleton Yards by beating the Saint Pierre and Miquelon Pirates, 4-1. Pitcher Juan Lopez was one reason why the Mounties triumphed. Joel Cogswell collected his 1st save. With the loss, Saint Pierre and Miquelon sinks to 3-7.

The Mounties got a big at-bat from third baseman David Raney. For the game, Raney was 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 4th home run of the season gave Moncton a 2-0 lead.

"Juan has got a slow heartbeat," said Moncton manager Johnny Hoffman. "He doesn't panic or anything."
