Kehlenbeck Belts 3 HRs Friday, March 27th , 2026 Anyone wearing a glove and sitting in the bleachers for today's Knights-Vikings game had a good chance at snagging a home run ball. Notre Dame High School first baseman John Kehlenbeck thrice sent eager fans scurrying to catch a souvenir, helping lead the Notre Dame High School to a win, 16-5, over Lowndes High School. "Hey, the three homers were great, but I'm just trying to help my ballclub," Kehlenbeck said later. "I'm not going out there thinking I need another home run." Kehlenbeck was 5-for-5 on the day with 8 RBI. John Kehlenbeck singled in the 1st, hit a GRAND SLAM off Chris Skinner in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Gary Bartik in the 5th and hit a three-run home run off Ilusuarte Gaio in the 7th. Kehlenbeck is swinging at a .625 pace on the year with 6 home runs, 17 RBIs and 11 runs scored. He has played in 7 games. |
